The Week Ahead
On the Sofa With… Louise will be chatting with some of the women of West to ask them about, life, work and how they put their faith in practice each and every day, and how we can encourage and support them within Connections Women’s Ministry and the wider church community. Monday evening, 7.30—9.15 pm in the Meeting Room.
Samuel Hub will meet on Monday evening at 7:30pm in the Prayer Room.
OASIS time for quiet and reflective prayer, Tuesday 21st January between 7.00-8.00 pm in the Church.
Street by Street operates between Carnalea Methodist, St. Gall’s and West visiting every home in the Bangor West area. There will be a celebration of this work on Thursday 23rd January in West at 7.30 pm. Everyone welcome and supper will be provided.
Freedom in Christ continues on Thursday at 7.30 pm in the Conference Room. If you missed the first week, it is still possible to come along!
Walking Group will meet on Saturday 25th January at 10:30 am in the Church car park. We will walk the Comber Greenway from Dundonald to Comber, lunch and return. Shorter options available, for more details contact Derek Polley.

1) Ladies Weekend in Murlough House, Dundrum, 7th—9th February “Anchored in Jesus. ALL places are now allocated.
2) Chapters Book Club A friendly place to discuss Christian books with other women, to broaden our understanding of our faith & how to put this into practice. Tuesday 28th January, 8.00 – 9.30 pm in the Meeting Room, we will review “Irresistible Faith” by Scott Sauls.

Prayer Ministry Seminar will be held over 2 Saturdays, 8th & 22nd February from 10.00 am. Please sign up on the main noticeboard.
Shoah Service Our annual Holocaust Memorial Event will take place on Tuesday 28th January at 7.30 pm. Guest speaker – Rev. David Kale, leader of the Belfast Jewish Community. In today’s context of rising anti-Semitism, it is vital we remember these things and show resolve not to allow them to be repeated in the future. It would be lovely to see as many as possible from West Church attending.
Sing for Life Choir will perform in West on Thursday 30th January at 7.30 pm. Suggested donation £10.00 supporting United Appeal and Cancer Focus. Tickets available from the church office or pay at the door. Invite family & friends and please plan to come along.
Love Peru Coffee Morning in support of St. Luke’s Clinic on Saturday 15th February between 10.00 am – 1.00 pm. Good quality bric-a-brac, soft furnishings, surplus Christmas gifts and jewellery donations much appreciated. (Please leave in the box in the Welcome Area before 31st January). Everyone welcome.
