The Walking Group hope to walk and barbecue on Saturday July 31st meeting at the church car park at 10.00am. the planned route is from clough to Dundrum for a barbecue. The route is flat and well surfaced. Feel free to walk both ways, walk one way or join us at the barbecue if you do not want to walk! Bring your own food, we will provide the barbecues. During July and August the weekly Prayer Meeting on Thursday evenings will continue from 8.00 – 9.00 pm; There will be NO morning prayer meeting; There will be no organised afternoon meeting but the Prayer Room will be open for those who wish to come to pray.
NI Blood Transfusion Service wants to set up a centre in the Bangor West/Carnalea area but they need a register of 100 donors (minimum) whether, new or previous donors, who would be willing to attend. Please complete one of the cards at the Office and leave in the post box.
George and Grenville are now official missionaries for the Presbyterian Church in Ireland!
They moved to Kathmandu in July 2008, with Grenville starting his new job as Strategy and Development Policy Director at the United Mission to Nepal.
