It is not professional counselling, nor just a friendly chat, but a way of encouraging you to express and clarify your feelings in order to identify the heart of a problem, work out what you want to do, and whether further help is needed.

Where and When?

We meet in the "Welcome Area" in West Church. Listeners are available at a variety of times each week. To meet a listener just make an appointment through the church office.

How?

You would meet with your listener for a one to one conversation, perhaps over a cup of tea or coffee. While there might be other folks about in the church Welcome Area, they would be beyond hearing distance, ensuring that your talk would be private - and as you would expect, our team members adhere to strict guidelines of confidentiality and sensitivity.
