We encourage people to move from membership to mission, and empowered by the Holy Spirit
To fulfil the mandate of Jesus Christ to be His witnesses and to lead others in His way
To demonstrate in all that we say and are and do, the power of the Gospel to transform lives and extend God’s Kingdom on earth; and
To model what we say and are and do, on the compassionate, holistic and reconciling ministry of Jesus Christ.

George and Grenville are now official missionaries for the Presbyterian Church in Ireland!
Grenville and Georgie live in Kathmandu where Grenville works as Strategic and Policy Development Director for the United Mission to Nepal (UMN).
This fits well with his vision to see individuals and organisations equipped and empowered to use their gifts to benefit others.
The UMN, which has been in existence for over 50 years, seeks to serve the people of Nepal ‘in the name and spirit of Christ’ Nepal is one of the poorest countries in the world with low household incomes and stark inequalities between urban and rural development. A strict caste system, years of unrest and a strong gender bias have created a situation where most Nepalis are without access to basic education or health services.
Grenville works with UMN’s Leadership team to deliver the current strategic plan and develop a new one. The key for UMN is to support the implementation of development projects by Nepali partnerships and this ensure greater equity and sustainability.

Andrew and Delwynne are friends of West Church. After many years of evangelistic work in France, Andrew took on the role of pastor of L'Eglise Evangelique Baptiste in Colmar, Alsace. The church has had a difficult history recently with a succession of pastors; there is an active youth group but with only a few who are Christians. In the area there is a high population of Turks and Arabs, and some of the outreach work has been in this direction.
Come along to the meeting to learn more or contact Maureen Bennett through the Church Office on 02891 459 688.
