West Church came into being in the early 1960's and has grown to a membership of approximately 1000 families. From its early days it has sought to be open to the leading of the Holy Spirit and to bringing renewal in a gentle way. It is a warm-hearted and caring place to be.

There is much more to West than our Sunday services and in a large congregation we long for every member to experience fellowship through house groups or organisations.

In West we want to be a Church of the Word and Spirit where:

• God is honoured in all our worship;
• Jesus Christ changes lives;
• We aim to welcome and care for everyone;
• We encourage God's people to discover and use their Gifts;
• We reach out in love and service;

Until we arrive at real maturity - the fullness of Christ (Ephesians 4:13)

West belongs to the The Presbyterian Church in Ireland and is part of the Ards Presbytery.
